StoreA11yBot

StoreA11yBot loads public pages of ecommerce stores and tests them for accessibility defects with axe-core. It reads pages. It does not submit forms, create accounts, add to cart, or follow links behind authentication.

How it identifies itself

StoreA11yBot/1.0 (+https://localhost/bot; accessibility scanner)

Rate

A scan requests at most 20 pages of one site, sequentially, with a 15-second ceiling per page. A given host is scanned at most once per 10 minutes.

How to block it

Add this to your robots.txt:

User-agent: StoreA11yBot
Disallow: /

We honour robots.txt on prospecting scans. A scan you request yourself through the site runs regardless, because you asked for it.
